The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
After huge success around the world, including an extended run in London's West End, the National Theatre's stunning production of Simon Stephens' play The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time returns. Playing a strictly limited season at the Piccadilly Theatre, the multi-award-winning show is adapted from Mark Haddon's best-selling novel of the same name. Directed by War Horse's Marianne Elliot, the story follows young Christopher Boone as he goes on an adventure to discover just what happened to his neighbour's dog. Obsessed with maths and struggling with some behavioural difficulties, the journey from Swindon to London is a big one, and transforms Christopher's life forever. An Olivier and Tony Award-winning production, Curious Incident features a stellar creative team that includes designer Bunny Christie, lighting designer Paule Constable, video designer Finn Ross, sound designer Ian Dickinson and musician Adrian Sutton, with movement by Scott Graham and Steven Hoggett for Frantic Assembly. Returning to the West End for a limited festive season, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time runs at the Piccadilly Theatre from 29 November 2018 to 23 February 2019.
